This holiday season, like the year that just sped past us, will have it’s set of challenges. And opportunities. The Ontario government says residents should only celebrate the holidays with their households as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
Even though we are not celebrating together, we are not alone. 2020 has demonstrated the incredible resilience we all have, right to year-end as our holiday celebrations pivot.
We continue to be inspired by our patients who take the opportunity to increase the resilience of others, or work on increasing their own. We are one community.
Thank you to everyone who stayed engaged with older family members, connected with friends or family who live alone, lifted up someone feeling down, or donated to a food back or shelter.
Respect to everyone who took a moment to appreciate that their loved ones were healthy and well, that they had shelter, that they were able to navigate the lockdown with creature-comforts, or that they had food for the holidays, cleaning products and paper towel, and PPE.
