Pandemic-precautions have brought many pivots to the way we do things in the world over the past year.
And many of those new ways of thinking about things that once seemed impossible, are now not only a reality but actually not very much different from what we’re used to.

Telehealth visits with your chiropractor may be just the pivot you need if you have neck or back pains.
Telehealth visits offer a way for you to connect with your Chiropractor to help assess and manage your pain or injuries. In fact, if you’ve ever given us a call to ask a question related to your health, you’ve already had a telehealth visit! Newer technology now allows us to securely connect by video-chat, and that opens up even more opportunity to observe during your assessment and to demonstrate during your plan of management.

“Exactly what kind of management can be done to help me over a video call?”…
That’s what you’re thinking, right…?

Having a trained ear to listen, a trained eye to observe, and an outside perspective can help you to find thing in your usual routine (or new routines) that are adding to your problem. Research strongly supports the use of strategies like; better understanding what’s wrong, changing behaviours that could be contributing, adding behaviours that can help and specific exercises to build your resilience. This strategy is called multimodal care, and it’s a key part of the in-person care we offer too. In fact, we’ve been at it since long before we’ve offered telehealth video appointments.

So, if the pivot to work-from-home, school-from-home, or extra workload during the pandemic precautions have left you with a sore neck, stiff back, or other pains consider how a telehealth appointment may help you.
